TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for 20 years. Most of this time has been spent teaching high school physics but for the last 5 years I have taught an integrated math/science core class to eighth grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach a hands science class where students learn by doing. In my Algebra 1 class I like the students to understand what they learn and also practice. I try to make both math and science fun and enjoyable.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelors of Science, with Honors, University of California, Davis. Physics Lots of inservice and graduate work as well.
