TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I taught second grade for two years and kindergarten for two years in Detroit. I am now teaching first grade in a suburb of Detroit. I have loved all my experiences in K, 1st, and 2nd!
MY TEACHING STYLE
Learning in my classroom takes place in the workshop format and often includes centers and games!
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I get to have shining teacher moments everyday when I see my students having fun, feeling safe at school, and of course learning! I was the 2010 Detroit VFW Teacher of the Year.
