My Teaching Experience

I have been a teacher of Mathematics for the past 18 years. I have tutored adults preparing for their GED both privately and in a classroom setting. I have experience as a special education teacher, and a Title I teacher. For the last thirteen years I have taught mathematics to middle school students.

My Teaching Style

My varied teaching experience has taught me a great deal about the importance of differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners. I try to create my lessons in such a way to allow all students to be challenged at the level they are currently at. I try to incorportate my interests as well as the students while still adressing the required GLE's (grade level expectations).
