TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught 14 years in Language Arts- primarily at the middle school level. The last six years, I have taught 7th grade Reading/Language Arts.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Hands on, relevant and creative! Teaching and learning should be fun in order for it to 'stick'!

I have been selected as Teacher of the Year and have also presented technology and learning styles workshops for district inservice.
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I graduated from Howard Payne University in 1992 with a major in Education and minors in History and Reading instruction.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I have taught for 14 years on the public school system . My students range from ESL to mainstream special education to gifted and talented students. My materials are frequently adapatable to all abilities .
