I used this activity after a long day of standardized testing. I didn't review with the students because I knew they would be able to help each other. It got them up and moving around the classroom which is a necessity after sitting for so long. Thank you! They enjoyed it.

Thank you for your purchase! However, I am sorry you were disappointed. In the description, it says that you will have to provide the edibles needed for the activity. Can you be more clear about what items you expected to see? That will help me to modify the activity.
Please note, however, that some aspects of this activity are not digitally transferable. Meaning, it is an investigation so answers will vary depending on all kinds of factors: class size, group size, cookie size, etc... It's not a "one size fits all" type of activity, which is why I did not include a key. It was not intended to stand alone as a complete lesson; but rather an activity that can supplement your lesson on the area of sectors, segments, and sections of a circle. For example, I used it as a way to reteach the lesson on a day when many of my students were on a field trip.
In it's current form, it is designed to serve as an investigation. What truly makes it come alive are the large cookies, or pizza, or donuts that students can "put their hands on". I've done this exact lesson with many classes over the years with much success.
I appreciate the feedback and hope you can help me to better understand what you expected so that I may be able to possibly add to it to suit your needs or desires or those of others. Thanks so much!

I used this as a round robin (each student completing one step and then passing it on to the next student). It worked really well and I love integrating Algebra and Geometry concepts for a change of pace from Algebra 1.

The graphs are fuzzy, and it would be nice if the students were able to put the answers to questions on each graph. I think the graphs are ideal for learning this concept as well as the questions. The questions should be formatted so they line up.

A fun activity for High School Geometry students, it goes along with the Kagan Cooperative Learning. It consists of 4 sheets which kids pass along within a group, so it will be good for maybe 1/2 hour or less.

Hi, I have some questions about this activity. Does it come with a key. How pages does it come with (sound like 4) When I looked at your preview, I noticed that the student don't have enough info to complete it. Do they know that Angles 1 and 2 are complements or that the 2 lines are perpendicular or are they just suppose to assume that since it looks like a right angle it is one?

I just uploaded a new copy. It now includes an answer key and has 9 pages (one is just a title page for the key). I also added boxes to show that the lines are indeed perpendicular (no assuming! :-) ). I hope this helps. This is one of my older products, so I will be systematically refreshing them to include answer keys. Thanks for the information and questions.

For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do use this? Is it a study guide? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.

Wow, only 3 feet wide is pretty slim. The only thing I can think of is to have the letters to SCHOOL spaced in the middle of the board, horizontally. Then, with something akin to conversation bubbles, put the other words/characteristics for each letter. Then you could place random cutouts of school buildings, school buses, and/or apples around the empty spaces as fillers. I loved your pre-made bulletin board. I fact, I'll be ordering it. I know you teach high school, but do you do bulletin boards for the elementary level? I've taught for 23 years and I hated doing bulletin boards as a new teacher, and I still hate doing them!! I prefer "seasonal" things with a writing assignment or a "project" that goes with it. They are 4th graders, but very low. We go through 4 themes of a program called L.E.A.D.S. The 1st theme is Immigration,o the bulletin board can simply go along with the season of the year.
