This looks like a wonderful tool from the preview but I cannot download it correctly. It downloads as a powerpoinnt but the text is random dashes, boxes, and symbols. I am not sure why it has not come through correcly. Have you seen this problem before?

ahhhh great teaching minds ... I was hoping and thinking about something like this for kindergarten - non fiction ccwriting and ccmath specifically. Do you have one or have you done one? I was hoping to make it for the k set but I want it to be in a very rebus style so the children can use it. I have referred this one of yours to all my 1st grade teacher friends I hope they buy it and use it WTG!

I have a kindergarten ela set out...I was thinking about doing a math set over Christmas...There should be a preview...so, you can see the direction I was going. A rebus style...you mean with pictures?? That sounds like it could be really great idea! :) Thanks so much for the referral! So glad that you're enjoying it. :) Due to copyright restrictions for the clip art, I can not send an editable copy of that particular piece. :( I would be happy to make any modifications to it that you'd require for your classroom use. Is that the only change that you'd need? Just to consolidate the rubric to 3-2-1?

I've been teaching for 17 years. I've had the opportunity to teach in middle school and elementary, but my passion is primary.

I'm a research based, standards driven type of teacher. I love parent involvement in the classroom and look for opportunities to engage them in their children's education early and often!
