I am from Washington State and we are just starting to switch over to Common Core slowly but surely next year. I downloaded the first and second grade math assessments as I teach both of these grades. I was confused when I was that the add within standard (1.OA.1 and 2.OA.1) appeared to be the same. I believe you have a mistype on your first grade assessment. I think it should read "Add and subtract within 20 to solve word problems" instead of "within 100". If it is possible to fix this and email me a copy I would greatly appreciate it. My school email is sondra.bailey@tumwater.k12.wa.us

Hi Tammy! I have purchased backgrounds by other sellers before and feel kinda stupid in the sense that I don't know how to expand them. I like yours and would like to buy them but feel like I need to figure this out. When I download the file and save it to my iphoto like I would any other download it saves and opens fine but it opens just like a regular picture and I cannot open it bigger. When I right click on any/all of the backgrounds I have downloaded in the past it does not give me the option to "set as background" - I feel like I am missing a simple obvious step - but have not been able to figure it out. Could you please let me know what I need to do - because I would like to use yours but have to figure this out before I make any more purchases - lol! I am usually SO good at techy stuff - but I am stumped on this one and feel so stupid that I cannot solve it myself. Thanks for any help and have a blessed day~

Leigh- All of my backgrounds are png files so when you open it into a Power Point or Word document, it will have an outline around it where you can drag, expand or rotate the image to fit anywhere on the page. I would save any and all of your clip art images on a file on your computer somewhere like a flash drive or desktop. I'm not too familiar with iphoto...that program may just recognize it as an image and not something you can change...not sure about that. You don't have to print out these images to be able to use them in your documents. They are all png files so save them on a file on your computer and when you open your document on your computer go to "insert" then click on "picture". Find the folder that has these images, click on that folder and simply insert whichever image you want. I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, just email me!! :)

Lisa- yes you can use my graphics on your TpT priced and free items. I ask that if you do use my graphics that they are on a PDF file so it is secure and buyers cannot take the graphics from your item. This helps you too:) You don't want your buyers changing your products, so always make your items PDF...just my personal opinion. Also, just be sure to give credit back to me by placing a link back to my Clip art blog or put a tag on your items saying something like: Graphics in this item are by: "Dots" of Fun! http://dotsoffun.blogspot.com.

What I can do is make the file a zip file and make each calendar a jpeg so that way you can put the image on a page and enter a text box to write in. Does that sound like something that would work for what you need?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 10 total years of teaching experience in grades 1st-4th in North Carolina. I am now a stay at home mom, busy teaching my 4 year old and 2 year old. My experiences as a teacher and mom go into every product I make. I create items that hopefully make a teacher's classroom organized and lessons where their students stay highly engaged.
