I am a second career teacher, having spent many years as a financial analyst and real estate appraiser. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching and feel like I learn as much from my students as I hope they learn from me.

I have a positive teaching style with an underlying belief that every student can be successful. I utilize cooperative learning in my instruction on a frequent basis so that students realize the value of working together.

I have the honor of working in a school I love with wonderful students! If I can positively impact the lives of the 5th graders that pass through my classroom doors, that will be reward enough for me.

Bachelor's in Business (Marketing), Master of Arts in Teaching Postgraduate courses focusing on differentiating instruction and classroom management.
