You could easily make this work for them. If you did it as a whole group activity have stations around the room with the objects you wanted them to measure. Label each station with a sticky note or index card that has 'A' 'B' 'C' etc written on it. Pair your students up in groups and have them move around the room measuring the objects that you have laid out for them and record their answers using their recording sheet. If you did it as a center activity you could label each object with letter stickers. Either way would make it super easy for kids to understand which object you wanted them to measure.

I just wanted to let you know there are two small typos in this freebie. It says, "This is my friends". Also, on the pets page, you added an apostrophe in "its". I would want to know, and I thought you would, too. :) It's a great resource that I know my students will LOVE. Thanks for sharing!

I love this clip chart! The wording and colos are just what I was looking for :) The only problem I'm having is when I print out the 'outstanding' and 'ready to learn' cards, the background color has darker areas on it...it looks like it's something to do with the way the font is layered on the page? The other pages print out perfectly. Any advice? Thank you!

I make a large one for the class to use. Each student has their own clothespin with their number on it. They are responsible for moving their clip up or down depending on the direction I give them. At the end of the day I color code each student's study buddy so that their parents know which color they were on at the end of the day.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my second year teaching kindergarten.
MY TEACHING STYLE
In my classroom everyone works together to learn. I want my students to work in cooperative groups in order to learn from one another and have fun. I feel brainstorming ideas as a class helps everyone see themselves as bright individuals and they become even more motivated to learn. I think learning should be fun and hands-on.
