I use this as a template for the Treasures reading series. In the reading series, there is journal writing. I like the visuals. I cut them out and help the students pick what they want to write out. There is also graphic organizers to help the student plan their writing.

Hi I just purchased your Pirate Mapping unit and had a couple of questions about the "can have are" paper, not sure of the directions. Could you clarify, I must be missing something. :-) Also on find all the things on the map or walk the plank, do the children design a map first and then answer those questions? Thanks for your help.

That is very nice of you! I figured out how to get the blank cupcakes but I am still having trouble editing the cupcakes (I am not very tech savvy lol). If you could take the cupcake that says If it snows and write If it is cold instead that would be great. If not, I understand :) Thanks for the great activities.

Since it is a pdf, you could import it into Powerpoint as an image (I have a mac and I open the pdf in one window and a plain powerpoint slide then I just drag it in) and you could put a text box over it and write what you would like. Or, I would be happy to make a blank page for you or put in some phrases you want. Just let me know what you want it to say and I can email you the new one over.
Whichever option works best/easiest for you!
