This is a great center to use that relates to the common core. The only problem I had was when trying to print the first 3 pages...it would kick my printer off-line when I would try and print them. I was able to make one copy of each and then had to copy them on the school copier in black & white.

I am sorry it is not what you were looking for. In the product description it says that it is for file folders. You could open it up, take a screenshot of each page, save as jpegs, and then insert those jpegs onto a blank document so you can resize. Let me know if that helps. Would there be any way to have a fill in the blank cover page and final page where the kids could fill in "Mom" or "Grandma" or whatever they call the person in their life. I have a couple students who live with aunts or grandmothers, and I love this booklet but can't use it labeled "mom" for all my kiddos. Thanks!

Yes, there is an answer key included in this purchase. I created it last year so we were not yet on Common Core Standards. I have not updated it with the actual standard for each question. However, they do involve critical/real world questions for students to solve. I've gotten great reviews about this product so I think you will like it. It is actually one of my biggest sellers in math. :) This summer, when I have a bit more time on my hands I will be updating products to include the CC standards.

I've taught 14 years teaching grades 3-5 and Early Intervention Program in Public School. I currently teach 3rd grade and am also working part time for my state's Department of Education...specifically projects that involve the new Common Core Curriculum. My love of technology never ceases! I am the blog administrator for my school and also maintain our school's Facebook page as well. This passion has recently taken me into the world of blogging about my own educational ideas. I love it.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Interactive and Hands-on Learning. I believe in cooperative learning where students gain knowledge from their classmates and share. Any time I can intetgrate technology into my lessons I will. I frequently use my Smartboard and classroom computers for interactive learning to help my student meet technology standards. No matter what, students have to be actively engaged in meaningful activities. That is my goal every day! :)
