Thank you so much for your feedback on figurative language poem. I wish I still had the video of my kids performing it so I could send it to you. They made up there own beat and even had a dance. It was very cool to see it come to life.I teach at a school where performing arts was integrated in the curriculum. But of course with the cuts those days are over.
But the amazing part was during our state exams I saw the students tapping out the song with their pencils and whispering the words when the came to a question on the test that related. Thanks again!!!!
