This was an adequate novel study for the price that was paid. It would have been nice to have a True and False element to each chapter, but overall, this novel study was good and I'll be using it in my classroom for sure.

Although it is great to have questions on hand and a checklist for monitoring students' progress, I feel it needs more graphic organizers and ways to break down this dense book for my students.

I am in the process of creating a bookmark for the novel, Days of Tears. Just wondering if your packet had a lot of graphic organizers to help my students in tracking their reading and in helping them identify the theme and events in the story. It would be nice to see some samples closer up.

This novel study has a tracking sheet for reading and the work sheets. There are comprehension questions that help students recall and write about the events in the novel. There are also questions that ask students for their ideas and opinions.

The collection contains short novel studies for several books. Each novel has comprehension questions, questions asking for the student's opinions and ideas, language, questions and research and Art ideas. The unit also contains Activity Cards that can be used for any of the novels. However, as they are short novel studies, the questions are not arranged in a chapter by chapter format.
