Hi. Can I use regular transparencies that I use for the copier? If so, do the kids need to use permanent markers? Looking forward to doing this with my class next week.

I use the regular transparency used in copiers for this activity. I use permanent markers for a brighter color but the other teacher on my team used white board markers and it turned out quite nice. I hope you enjoy it. My kiddos LOVE this activity and have begged to do it again.

Good luck and enjoy

Judy E. re: Ways to Ten Table Game
I look forward to using the games - there are a number of things one could do with the sheets - what specific tasks/activities do you do with the table games? I didn't see any specific instructions to go along with the sheets. Thanks!

I use these games as a daily activity in my centers. I put the large copies back to back in a page protector. The small slips are cut apart and put in baggies. The students do this activity every day for two weeeks. The variety is built in because they pull the slips out in a different order every time. When I first introduce a new game they students have to raise their hands when they have completed the game. After I am sure they are mor independent with the game they do it with a partner checking their work. Finally we do it as a speed game using a timer. It provides daily practice without worksheets mentality. It also allow me to specifically assign a table game to a student that needs more practice.

Mandy L. re: New Math Resource Page- English and Spanish
I love your math resources page freebie. I was wondering if you would be willing to make one with a few adjustments to make it aligned to the common core standards that my school is using. We don't teach money in Kindergarten anymore. I would love to have one with cube, cone, sphere, and cylinder for solid shapes. We also learn the color gray. We do hexagon, circle, square, triangle, and rectangle as the flat shapes. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Send me an email with the specific things you want included and the things that you want deleted from the original page and we will set it up. If you think of anything else let me know. There are 4 Narrators, 4 Whos, 2 Grinches and 1 Cindy Lou. So all in all 11 but you could always combine some of the parts.

Could you post this not as a PDF so that I can change the dots on the 10 frame. We also use the the 10 frame with quick images but start the 1 in the top left corner. This is a great resource and I would like to use it.

Will you customize your products? Your Math Resource Page is wonderful! I would like to have you make a few changes so it would be even more suitable for my particular classroom. When you respond do you mind letting me know an approximate cost and time frame. Again, I think your work is great. I adore my husband, but no one would ever accuse him of being a genius computer programmer:) We should all be so lucky!

Thank you, I noticed that on the second spanish page the word zero is in place of the word cero in spanish. Is the word for trapezoid correct? I have only heard of these two: trapecio (most common) & trapezoide.

I already have one posted, look for the English/Spanish Math Resource Page. It is free also. It has 4 pages because there has been two different types of 9 dots used to teach touch math. Hopefully with those you will have everything you need.

Stephanie Ashley  (TpT Seller) re: Math Resource Page
I absolutely LOVE this resource. I plan to make copies for my students. Is there a reason why you made the ten frames with the 1st dot starting in the bottom right corner? Would it be possible for you to make a version where the dots start in the top left and fill the top row first before going to the bottom row?

I did the ten frames in that configuration for a couple of reasons. I wanted the students to have another visual connection to the number besides the common five dots across and I wanted to reinforce counting by two's. My kiddos had mastered that common form but had a difficult time being flexible and recongizing the numbers in a different configuration. I found that this way helped them see the numbers in multiple ways instead of just one. It actually helped my kids alot. I do custom creations. Thanks for letting me know your specific needs. I will be working on that version.

If you want a change made let me know. Also if you have other things you want in Spanish I am happy to create anything for you.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught school for 12 years in Resource, English as a Second Language and my greatest love..... First Grade! I am a perfectionist and want all of my resources to be effective, beautiful and useful. I believe that all children deserve the accomodations to learn. I am dedicated to developing GREAT resources that make teaching easier for teachers! My husband is a genius computer programmer and he helps turns my ideas into easy reality.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a Differentiated Instruction junky. I believe that children learn individually not as a group and my teaching must reflect those needs. I utilize small group instruction and centers to allow for individualized instructions for all of my students.
