Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Hi! No I don't have those. I only had those for second and then during our summer training, we were told that the new TEKS are our guidelines so I created the math TEKS using the new TEKS. I would love to make them but I'm about to have a baby any day now and I cannot promise I can get them done! If I don't go into labor, then I can work on them this weekend. Did you only need math? They are the tek with an I can beginning in the most kid friendly way I could make them, still using the goal. Did you download the preview? I put an example of them in the previews. My students and I read them and with teacher support they get it. Some of them were real wordy so I tried to make them as simple as possible. :)

Teach Me More (TpT Seller) re: First Grade Science TEKS- Dots
Hi Dixie,
I'm your newest fan and follower and was so happy to pick up your First Grade TEKS this weekend. My district has a few "I Can" statements for the beginning of the year and I was wondering if you could send me an editable border in the dots colors? I just need to type up a few more to add to what I bought. If not, that's ok, I understand. Maybe you would be willing to tell me where you got the borders? Is that Scrap n Doodle? Thanks so much... love your work! We don't have kids here until August 27... I'm in Frisco which is close to Dallas!

Hey there! Thanks again for creating these cards for me! I have a question about the alignment with the TEKS. Should the letter and number at the bottom right hand corner correlate /be the same as the letter and number of each TEK?

The number in the bottom corner is the number of the tek for that subject area. So for example, on the math ones, the first card says 1.a "apply mathematics to problems arising in everyday life..." I just followed through the TEKS. I know sometimes people write it as 3.1A instead of 1.A, but since they were all for the same grade level, I left off the three from each TEK. Does that make sense? The math TEKS for third grade have changed as of this last June. So they look different than the math TEKS from last year. That's the only subject that was revised. We started school three weeks ago and we had to go through a whole training on it. Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you like them!
