The illustrations are very accurate and well done. However there is no explaination as to where you got the numbers that you are multiplying by to convert the fraction to a decimal. I will have to use something else to show my students that step of the process. I have inclusion.

I purchased this and went to use it, but as I was making an answer key for it, I discovered that there is an error on the "What does a snowman eat for breakfast?" page. 3x + 2 should equal 17 yet there is no 17 listed in the key. The letter O should be equal to 17. I would appreciate it if you would fix the error and email me the updated product.

I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market this product. First, create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. The cover page is important for each and every product you sell. Make sure all of your x variables are in cursive. I teach remedial math on the college level, and see daily the importance of making the variables different from the mulitplication sign.

Absolutely. Sorry for being vague. I have students work in groups of 3-4. Give them a square root to estimate. Each student in the group gets 15-20 seconds to estimate.They estimate alone and keep their answers to themselves. Give the actual answer and the student with the closest score gets to roll the die or if you don't want to use the board game you can have them tally points for every win. I like to spice it up by allowing the student who answers the square root exactly 2 point or 2 rolls. I typically do this the second time through.

I spent 8 years in the USAF as a Bio-Environmental Engineer. It was wonderful to use my math skills in a different setting. I brought many of the math problems that I encountered to my students to solve. They loved being able to use their math is a "real life" setting.
