Sure. It is a Kagan structure. The kids all stand and walk around the room while I play music. When I stop the music they freeze and pair up with closest student to discuss the sentence. Then I call on a group to share their answers. I have a few rules...such as no following the same person around, no moving away from people, etc. I hope that helps.

It is (c) 2011. We are in Kansas so we don't have one labeled with our state...like California or Florida. I looked in our books and don't see anything to tell me exactly, but ISBN on the Unit 1 Teacher's Manual is 978-0-02-201701-9.

I saw an update that the MVP card should have read a MVP not an MVP (I didn't catch it either ;)) How do I get that updated card? Also, how much trouble would it be and/or what would I have to pay for a job card that says "Substitue"? I am finding even in the ten days of school I am having a hard time without that job! :)

I actually found out that it is acceptable to use "an MVP" because the M makes a "vowel sound" in the acronym. If you want the updated one - depending on which one you bought - you should be able to redownload. However, once I found out it was okay either way, I didn't update one of the packs and my memory has failed me. Try clicking on your purchases and redownload. If that doesn't work and you want the other card, let me know when you e-mail me about the job card.
Be sure to tell me which sports theme pack you bought in your e-mail.

Cut out (and laminate) card. Pass out one card, die and colored counters to a group of students. The student rolls the die and puts a counter on the number that they rolled. If they say the word correctly, they get to keep their colored counter on the space. If they say it incorrectly, they have to take the counter off the space.
