Very well organized and kid friendly activities. It will be a great resource for my rainforest unit. Some of the words are spelled differently than in USA: colours for colors, understorey for understory. The cloze activity page is missing the word "live" from word choices at the bottom of the page.

Thank you so much for the feedback regarding this package. I have taken your comments on board and have redone the package in American English and corrected the cloze error. I will place it on the TpT site but if you are happy to email me I will email you a corrected pdf copy: lyn@teachingpackages.com I want the package to be useful and appropriate for your students.
I will also revamp my Polar Regions package in American English and as I am writing a Desert regions package at present I will put that on Tpt in both Australian and American English too. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught all primary school grades during my 36 years of teaching experience. I have also trained student teachers in university undergraduate courses.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Eclectic! I believe in finding every opportunity to help students learn. Therefore there is a place in the curriculum for explicit teaching, inquiry learning and experiential approaches. Include in this, leading students to understand how they learn and to develop in students the skills of critical thinking and problem solving. These will introduce them to valuable life long skills.
