I have decided not to publish the collections in hard cover. For Popular Picture Books (M through Z) there are 81 pieces (CCGs) in the E-Book. The titles are on the page. The picture books are a variety of fiction and non-fiction and a variety of reading levels. Popular Picture Books (A to L) has 73 CCGs. Again, the titles are listed on the description page. You Can't Smell a Flower with Your Ear is a leveled reader from the All Aboard Reading Series from Puffin/Penguin. It is not exactly a picture book. It is book about the senses and I'm not sure of the reading level (2nd/3rd probably). The comprehension parts are vocabulary/multiple choice/short answer -- as with all the Compact Comprehension Guides.

Teaching With Picture Books (TpT Seller)
Yes, all the CCGs are the same format --What I did was take all the individual picture book CCGs and combined them into two E-books. One is titles A through L and the other is titles M through Z. The titles are listed in the in the sample section. I tried to make them large enough so one could read the titles. Anyway A to L contains @ 70 of the CCGs and M to Z contains @ 80 titles. So it's a great deal. Unfortunately, the new pieces I add every week won't be included in an E-book -- yet. I plan to have a third E-book out by the first of 2013. Hope this clarifies things and thanks for your interest.

LOVE your CCG products!!! Do you take requests for other books? I would like to have consistency in my assessments. I have a number of picture books that I use through the year and would love to have you make assessments for them. I understand if you aren't able to make the assessments! I don't know how you had time to do the ones you've already completed.
I could send you my monthly list of books. I usually use four picture books a month. We spend a week learning vocabulary, writing style, practicing comp. skills, story mapping, writing about...and a craft to go with the book. I'm just looking for consistent assessments.

Eburk, thanks for the compliment. Starting in September, I will be adding 2 to 3 picture book pieces a week. I have a couple qualifications on how I pick the books. One is that there has to be enough content within to glean vocab and questions from. Books that do not have a lot of words I don't choose. A second qualification is that it is a book that has been or will be around. There are a lot of picture books out there that (and I think a teacher can tell pretty easily) are not going to have much of a shelf life or that are from some obscure author/publisher.
Anyway I would be glad to get a list from you and see where it takes us. If it's a quality or well-known book, I'd be glad to create a guide for it and add it to my collection. If you could send me a "tentative" list of books you may be thinking of, I could let you know those I would be willing to do, to give you an idea. Thanks again.

I am a Reading Specialist at the Elementary level and have had the chance to teach at all levels, K - 5. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have been teaching Reading for 15 years.

I have a BA in History with a minor in Archaeology from the College of Wooster (Ohio). I went back to get my teaching certification at the Elementary level from the University of Akron. I have a MA in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading from Catawba College (North Carolina). I have Reading certification in Grades K - 12.

I come from a family of educators. My grandfather, father, mother, sister, two aunts, an uncle, and a couple of cousins are, or have been, educators.
