I bought your subject pronoun ON product. When I go to open it I am asked for a password. It won't accept my password, so i am wondering if it is protected with your password. Can you please check on this?

Hi Susan. So sorry you are having trouble! I've downloaded the file on a different computer & everything seems fine. Are you having an issue with the zip file itself, or the PDf or Word documents it contains? The PDF itself is password protected against changes but you ought to be able to open, print etc without that password. If the PDF is giving you trouble, then the editable Word documents should give you exactly the same content (just without the pretty cover, which students don't need anyway).

If you're still having trouble, please contact this web site's technical support using the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page.

Definitely prefer "fais transpirer ton cerveau"! I teach Grade 4 so either the fancy script or bold and simple would work! Whatever you think would work better :)

For the others, how about these key words?

1. La sécurité
2. Le R-E-S-P-E-C-T (I want to play part of the song for them which is why its spelled out that way)
3. What we decided :)
4. Des risques et erreurs (maybe on a gold star?)
5. Amuse-toi!

Thank you so much!!!!

how about "fais transpirer ton (or le?) cerveau"... what do you think?

Also, any particular style of font you like? Fancy scroll-y, bold & simple, ...?

It'll probably have to be key words, to fit & be large enough - you're right!

Aggie Gasior  (TpT Seller) re: Bilingual Classroom Rules Posters
Hi Mme Aiello,

My five French classroom this year are:

1 Premièrement la sécurité du corps, du cerveau et du coeur
2 Le R-E-S-P-E-C-T toujours
3 Travail fort; fais ton cerveau transpirer!
4 Prends des risques; fais des erreurs!
5 Amuse-toi – l’éducation est une aventure!

Any chance you could create something for those five rules? I would especially love to see the key words for each!

Thank you!

I was wondering if the translation of "Puis-je" could be changed to "May I" rather than "Can I". We are always correcting our students when they use "Can I" instead of "May I".

What a delight to see materials that light up a language so many secondary students struggle with. I like the way you use icons and images to help them gain French. It's also fun to meet another Canadian who helping to renew the field for older students! Thanks, and best! Ellen

How soon do you need it? Maybe a due date will light a fire under me! The draft file I had saved on my laptop became inaccessible when it unexpectedly died, so I had to start again.

The scavenger hunt sounds like a lot of fun as a final task!

Thanks so much! I appreciate you sharing (and letting me know) very much! My rating on this product is a little low considering the amount of work I put into it, so I'm definitely open to suggestions for improvement.

Whether or not to use images is still a topic I can argue either way. :-) I'd love any further feedback that your teacher contacts have for me.

Bonjour,

I downloaded the Free French Winter Sports Activity Bingo and Vocab Cards Package. When I tried to save it to my computer so I could use it, a password was requested. Was this intended as read only?

Thank you,

The file is only password protected against copying the content, and making changes. You should still be able to save it. See if you are able to select "save" instead of "save as." (This may depend on your version of Adobe Reader). You could also try right-clicking the download button and choose "save as" right from the source to choose your file location on your computer or network.

TeachersPayTeachers has very good tech support (use "Contact us" at the bottom of most pages) if these suggestions don't help you.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Certified teacher since 1997. Taught in elementary, middle school and high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

High expectations, lots of support and practice in a variety of ways to meet different learners' needs & styles. Fun, with real life/authentic connections where possible! Always changing, always evolving, always learning... and proud of it.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I'm thinking I'm going to have to invent my own award for this one... I think "teaching awards" are much more rare in Ontario, Canada than they seem to be in many US states. :-)
