Can an editable template be produced with a smaller border and a smaller area for the crayon, marker, and pencil graphic boxes and a larger box with 2 solid lines and 1 dotted line for writing the word or letter (the sample word or letter would also have the solid and dotted writing guide lines).

I have been using your original activity and it works well. Not only does it give my k kids additional sight word practice but also allows them to practice reading & following the graphic directions. Just what they need. Thanks again,

I love this idea. I would also like to program each child's first name, my weekly letter of the week (lowercase & uppercase), and longer sight words.

Oh my goodness! What a great idea! I have always used this in my word work station at the beginning of the school year as another way to help those sight words sink in, but never thought of it as a way to practice printing names (which many of my kindergarten friends really need!) I will spend some time working on this over the long weekend, and see what I come up with! Watch your inbox:)

I have been teaching kindergarten for over 10 years, and I love it!

I use a balanced approach in all that I teach. I want my classroom to be developmentally friendly to meet all of the social and emotional needs of all my kindergarten friends, but I must also meet all the common core standards in the process so that these little people are ready for 1st grade.
