I am a teacher in Croatia, a little country in Europe. I have been working as an elementary school teacher for almost 25 years. I teach all 6 subjects for grades 1 to 4. However, I have an affinity for Language Arts and Art.

In everyday teaching, I love topics that give me the opportunity to have an integrated lesson. I love my job because it constantly allows me to discover myself and my abilities. However, best of all I love sharing with my pupils those moments where they recognize their accomplishments and results of their effort.

For more than ten years now, I have been a mentor in my school. For six years, I have been leading the Teaching Council in my county. I have also been awarded many local, state, and one country award for my school exhibit celebrating Bread day, or a Thanksgiving day for the fruit of the earth, a day that we celebrate in October. I consider my greatest professional accomplishment to be the author of a set of language arts textbooks for grades 1-4 (reading books, workbooks for literature, workbooks for language, and tests) I am also the author of a workbook on reading comprehension for grades 1-4, tests for science grades 1-3 and the complete set of textbooks for science for the 3rd grade.

Elementary school, high school, and the College of Philosophy (major: teaching studies) at the University of Split, in the most beautiful city in the world, Split, as remarked by its inhabitants . Because I don't speak English very well, and I am new to your diverse lesson plans, I am not able to present my ideas on subjects like Language arts, literature, grammar, reading and science, but Art is one of the few subjects that can “communicate” in all languages. Therefore, I can present you my ideas and suggestions through the artwork of my students.
