Could you please describe the contents of this product? How many pages are included? Does it cover the entire book?

It covers all thirteen chapters, with a couple of questions per chapter (23 questions total). I focus my study guides on questions that help my students comprehend the story better and to make them think. They are not simply "test" type questions. Here are two examples (from different chapters): There is a more in depth description of the various skills covered with in the product overview.
1. Robbie leaned over his plate of pancakes and inhaled the aroma. What does that phrase mean? Circle the correct answer.
blew on it because it was hot
breathed in the scent
got sick to his stomach
2. Some children in school like to pick on others. Why do you think they do that?
I also have a 10 question multiple choice test for sale that goes with this book.
Thanks for considering my sales items.

Are there questions for all the chapters?

Yes! I only put the first page on as a preview, but I do have questions for all the chapters. Each chapter has 2, 3, or 4 questions (the chapters that have only 2 are short chapters). I try to phrase my questions and choose them to assist students in understanding the story better. There is also a word search with key vocabulary. Hope that gives you valuable information! Teri

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught first through third grades, as well as multi-age 2nd/3rd classes. I have been a reading tutor, utilizing Reading Recovery techniques, Question/Answer Relationship strategies, and many other comprehension tools of the trade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My biggest love in teaching is developing questions for literature in order to assist students in comprehension. To help them learn to dig deeply into literature in order to obtain meaning is a huge reward for me. Books can teach lessons, build academic skills, and take students into another depth of thought, if they are guided by the teacher. The study guides and tests I've developed build grade-level appropriate skills and thought processes. I teach in a very hands-on way, encouraging projects to go along with literature, author studies, and try to integrate subjects as much as possible. I can be reached at jtboxberger@cox.net.
