TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started off my profession as a Title 1 reading/writing/math teacher, which I did for two years. I am now a beginning self-contained 1st grade teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm working toward a more constructivist approach, but being a first year teacher, I am following the lead of my co-workers until I can get a grasp on the curriculum and procedures.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Lamar State College - Port Arthur where I received an Associates of Applied Arts in Academic Studies. I then moved on to Lamar University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdiscipline Studies.
