I have been recently published with the Smarter Balance Consortium. My published resource "Eight Close/Critical Reading Strategies that support the CCSS" can be found in my store. I have taught K-8 mostly in the area of science and 4 years in regular ed.. The last two years I worked with teachers and students implementing the Common Core State Standards. I now support teachers and students in implementing the Next Generation Science Standards as a STEM Coordinator.You will find a lot of CCSS and NGSS resources in my TpT store.. I have taught 5/6 regular ed. and PreK-8 science for several years. Although I am in classrooms daily modeling, teaming and supporting teachers I plan on returning to the classroom full time in the next few years after I have supported in building capacity. My teaching style is student centered with an emphasis on inquiry based instruction. I would like to say my style resembles one of a constructivist style of teaching. I believe in exploratory learning with a purpose.
