I look forward to using this in my classroom as a follow up to a lesson on the dictionary. It meets all the needs of the learning styles in my classroom. Thank you.
Love this activity! My kids are loving learning about dictionaries so far! This will definitely be a great way for them to be creative and be proud of their hard work once it is displayed around the room!
Brain research shows that kids learn by categorizing. This was a great way to categorize the different sensory sentences. Fun for the kids while theylearn in a meaningful way. Goodbye worksheets.
This is perfect for my dictionary center next week. I made a sample and have the whole center up and ready to go. The only thing I changed, was that I condensed the parts on to two pieces of paper (a little crammed) because of our paper allotment. Thank you so much for sharing this idea, it's great!!!!
Spanish resources are really hard to come by. Thanks for your feedback and I have to say, I'm a big fan of your resources!!

nbenham re: Sensory Language Sort
I bought your sensory sort activity. I had the students sort each sentence into the correct group. Do you ever consider doing something like this for Character Traits? By this I mean you pick 4 or more traits and quite a few sentences that demonstrate each trait. I also think a feelings sort type game would be great. Pick the basic feelings (happy, sad...) and sort cards into each group. After playing your game (and we did it numerous times to solidify the concept) I can now refer back to what appealing to your senses mean....fantastic. Put me on your list if you develp anything like this again.
That is a really great idea that I honestly never thought of! You've really inspired me. I am so glad you liked the product; I just make things that will address my own students' needs...so I am really glad to know of someone out there who likes them. I will most certainly get to work on a character traits sort, thank you for the inspiration!
