MY colleagues said- at first- no play for them It's such a busy time of year that I totally understood. But once they read it and saw how everything is there for them (with EASY scenery suggestions, too!) they were on board. Yep- easily adaptable.

I just introduced it to my class today! They were so excited to hear it! We are having all five first grade classes perform the play. All classes are a "color" and there are several times where each class speak in together. "We're the Green People..."
As for Narrators: you can have as many as you want. The way I have it written can be done with one class or five! As written, I have 52 speaking parts BUT if that's too many, they can easily be grouped. (the 52 does not include the whole class parts where they speak together.
I've done it in the past with just my class (21 students) and with as many as 125-150 kids. Honestly, parents and teachers love it!So easy to adapt to any amount! Honest!
Let me know if you have any other questions! No matter which play you end up doing, break a leg!

Tried to use I have who has today. There were errors with this product as the cards did not allowthe full rotation. It stopped at the word Broke with about 8-10 cards still not read by my students. I had this planned to use only today. We were overall disapointed that we couldn't finish the game as my students love I have, Who Has.

I noticed on my PDF that there is an error. One question card asks Who has BUG? There is no card that begins with BUG. The word BLUFF is there instead. This was easily fixed by me, but others should be aware before they laminate.

I purchased your bundled poems and songs for $30 last night. Oct. and Nov. worked fine. I could not download or print Dec. or Jan. I didn't try the other months yet. I also did not get Sept. or March included in this bundle and I thought they were. Any suggestions? I tried again this morning and it still wouldn't let me print. I have ever had trouble downloading and printing from Teachers Pay Teachers. $30 is a lot to spend so i hope I can get all of your poems and songs Thanks!

I am teaching first grade in South Orange/Maplewood in Essex County. This was my first year in First grade and in this district. Previously I taught 3rd and 4th in Newark and NYC. It was a HUGE learning curve for me as I had been out of the classroom raising my 3 children to school age. Where are you located? I do love your wealth of ideas on literacy at this age. I will be going to the Reading & Writing Institute this summer at Teahers College to learn more tips about teaching reading at this age! It was a HUGE learning curve for me as I had been out of the classroom raising my 3 children to school age. Where are you located? I do love your wealth of ideas on literacy at this age. I will be going to the Reading & Writing Institute this summer at Teahers College to learn more tips about teaching reading at this age! Perhaps sometime in late Fall I could visit if you're not too far away? Good Luck finishing up your year. Hi there! Yes, my packet will e available first thing tomorrow morning. Just putting finishing touches on it. I've combined the packet to make it May/June since I know that many schools are finishing up and need end-of-the-year songs as well. Hi Gloria~ How odd! I have had hundreds of downlaods on it and haven't heard of a problem yet. Have you tried to download other freebies of mine as well? They are all pdf files. I'm sure you've opened them in the past. I'll email you that freebie quick writes to address above right now. It opened for my sister yesterday and she's on a MAC. I am really sorry for the problem. (If you've tried to open multiple freebies of mine, then we are talking thousands of downlaods without a known glitch.) Was it just today or in past as well? Thanks!
