I am starting the 2nd grade Journey Series and love to have my students match the definition to the correct word on my document camera, I got the idea from Sara Kirby on TPT. Is that a resource that is included in your Journey Units? The ones I used had cute little graphics in the corners that went with the stories and my students had a blast with them. I purchased the Journeys Unit 5 bundle today and I have tried to print "Gloria Who might Be My Best Friend" 4 times. Once I get to page 14 it enlarges each page over 3 to 4 pages. I didn't have any trouble printing the other 4 stories. Any idea?

The unit for $3.50 has the craft and writing prompts only. The prompts are generic, with many options. It doesn't contain the thematic section based on the book. I am currently in the car traveling home from a weekend trip, but if you would like more specifics on the prompt I can give them to you once home.

I have made Activ Inspire Flip-charts to accompany your units. I use these in my class, but would like to put them on TPT, however since it is your original art and ideas I need permission to do this. The flip charts are designed in such a way that they are not complete versions of any activity, just enough of the activity for an introduction, and a recording page so we can check our centers together at the end of the week. Thank you for purchasing my products! I am glad you enjoy my work and that it is working for your kiddos. I appreciate you asking me first and being honest! However, I am unable to allow you to use my ideas/designs/products in any file, including Active Inspire Flip-Charts. I spent over 8-14 hours on each unit and do not feel right allowing others to gain profit off of my ideas. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "art," if that refers to clip-art I have used, I just wanted to let you know that it is highly illegal due to copyright laws to use clip-art you haven't purchased on any items. Even if you purchased my units and uploaded it to the active board somehow.

The X is to represent where the doubles fact goes. I won't be going in to include 0 addition facts because I created this unit to support my class and the curriculum we use, Math Expressions. Math Expressions doesn't use 0 addition facts in their math houses.

I have just checked the file and it downloads fine in a PDF format. Make sure you have an updated version of adobe reader and that if you are on a MAC you are not opening up in a "preview." If neither of these suggestions work, you will need to contact teacherspayteachers for further help. I am unable to send any file by email due to the size of my units.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently in my fourth year of teaching. Three years of experience in second grade and one year of experience in third grade. I have learned 3 new reading series in my four years of teaching!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I love to make teaching as hands on as possible! All of my memories of my "favorite school years" contain memories of fun projects. I hope to create some of those memories for my students.

I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and am currently working my ESL endorsement to teach K-12 ESL kiddos. I love, love, love to learn myself, but will be taking a break after my endorsement is finished. At least for a little bit!
