I am using your CCGPS Pacing Guide. Could you please tell me where to find the Social Studies and Science topics that are located on the CCGPS Pacing Guide. I have a copy of the Math and ELA frameworks but not Social Studies and Science. For example on Week 28 under Social Studies The Culminating Task reads "Unit 5: pg. 5,6" Where would I find this information to get copies in order to see the entire task.

Sure:) The Social Studies and Science frameworks are on www.georgiastandards.org under content area frameworks. I have attached the link for science and from there you can also navigate into social studies. The content area selections are found on the left hand side of the page in the orange box. Select your grade band and then your grade level on the right side of the page in blue. https://www.georgiastandards.org/Frameworks/Pages/BrowseFrameworks/ScienceK-5.aspx
These frameworks are written in paragraph form with a task highlighted in each paragraph. Let me know if you have any further trouble and I can email them to you from my flashdrive:)

I have a question, I noticed on the 5th Grade CCGPS Framework Pacing guide Quarter 4 that the Math on Week 29- Week 33 was a repeat of math from Quarter 3 and the start of Quarter 4. Is this correct?

Hello:) It has a drop down menu to mark the "Teacher Key" indicated in that part of the lesson plan. Teacher Keys is an evaluation system some systems in Georgia are using this year. If you are in a Race to the Top county you have probably been through training and your first two rounds of evaluations. If you are in a county that is not using this evaluatin system yet, then do not worry about purchasing that version. With Teacher Keys, the teachers have to build a yearly protfolio, as well as show evidence of all ten keys in every evaluation. The teacher keys version helps them indicate the areas they are showing evidence for in each lesson for their portfolios and observations. Hope this helps:) Have a super day:)

I noticed that you also have a template for "Teacher Keys", what exactly is that? It looks the same as the ELA and I just wanted to make sure it's something I could use before purchasing. Thank you for your support and Happy New Year! The teacher keys version is for those teachers in counties operating under the Teacher Keys evaluation process...usually counties that are also working under Race to the Top requirements. That plan gives teachers the option to mark the "key" they have shown evidence for during that part of the lesson to make their evaluations easier for administration and teachers to track progress within the teacher key point system. Last night I purchased all 2nd quarter curriculum pacing guides for K-5. Is there a difference between the weekly and quarterly pacing guides? Also, is there a way to go back and purchase the additional licenses for each grade level? My principal wants each teacher to have a license. Please let me know what I need to do. Hello:) Thank you for your interest. The only difference in the weeks and the quarters is the time frame. I do them to match the weeks in the school year so each quarter will match your weeks. I offer school rates with professional learning support. For planning support and pacing, it will be $200.00 each quarter. I come to you and meet with grade levels, staff, etc. It also gives you rights to put the pacing on your universal drive for support personnel. If you just want to purchase 3 additional licences for each grade level it is $3.00 per license per quarter. I came up with this format when I was an academic coach and my staff was struggling with planning through 200+ pages. I did it in weekly goals so they could focus on standards based intruction a week at a time. I have several schools that purchase the planning support too, just so I can help grade levels make the transition in CCGPS and integration. Weeks 8/9 do match 18/19. I did it this way to match the ELA Water Droplet writing. As a grade level, we are going to review and use those weeks 17, 18, 19 to tie water cycle to weather, animals, and plants to make sure we have covered the science GPS. We also didn't have time with the writing to let the students explore all the labs that go with water cycle. I hope this helps and thank you so much!

I am working on a years worth K-5. I am posting them as I finish. Hopefully, I will have a year for each grade level complete by the end of this semester and offer them in bulk at that point. I should have October ready for K-2 by next weekend and will post it asap:) Try to touch base every week or so with the store and more should be loaded. I had them complete for every grade level last year. After the frameworks changed, I decided to revamp the homework tasks. Thank you:)

For grades K & 1 2nd quarter is done. KDG second quarter is posted. 1st will be posted tonight and 2nd by this weekend. 3rd-5th will be posted in the next couple of weeks. I am inserting the new framework activities and it is running about 6-10 hours per nine weeks per grade level. My goal is to have all four quarters posted with matching homework calendars by November. I hope this helps and thank you for your interest:)

I will have each quarter separately. I apologize for any confusion. Each file will have nine weeks. I have KDG complete for two quarters. I will not post third quarter until after I finish 2-5 second quarter. It takes about 6-10 hours to do the nine weeks so it is a slow process. Sorry for the confusion:)

Yes, I have one up. I teach first grade as well so I usually load those materials first. I will continue to do one for each month of the school year and a summer contract to send home for prep for second grade. I used an older version of these with my first graders last year and my parents loved it. It also infused more writing across the curriculum and gave me great formative assessments for class. I did put these up with no dates so the buyer does not have to buy over and over. Thanks for your interest and support:)

I actually alligned everything will the state pacing. The first 9 weeks is up for K-5. I am loading quarter 2 as soon as I finish them. I should have all 36 weeks for each grade level complete before school starts back. They will be loaded by quarter.

My first year of teaching was in 2000 in first grade. I them taught kindergarten for 5 years, EIP k-5 reading and math for 1 year, second grade for 2 years, and academic coach for a title school for 2 years. I am currently teaching first grade and loving it!
