Thanks for your purchase and feedback. To have students check their work themselves, you could print out the card pages (do not cut them out) and label them as F and NF. I generally am moving about the room and checking their work and questioning as they are sorting.

In the first question I asked you mentioned opening in a ppt file to insert a label, which is why I asked about the ppt file. My main confusion is I can't seem to get these to do anything. I can't print, I can't use in microsoft word, I can't figure out how to use these to do anything besides look at them in my folder.

To insert a .png file (which is what the digital papers are), you have to have a word processing or ppt file already open, then select insert image, find the file (image) you want to insert and then click open (or OK, or insert). I bought your Cinderella clip art a while ago when it was in a bundle called Cinderella Clip Art, Frames, Borders and backgrounds. The new version isn't available at my purchases. I think it's because what I bought said Cinderella Clip Art, Frames, Borders and Background and when I clicked on it, it just sent me to your store, not the new Cinderella clipart. Students do not need ANY prior knowledge of quadratics. This activity helps students see quadratic relationships; that they result in a curved shaped called a parabola. It also helps them see the important features of the parabola; the max and min point (the vertex), the axis of symmetry and corresponding points. It doesn't reveal the form of a quadratic equation, but rather gives them an idea of quadratic relationships and their graphs.
