Thanks so much for your kind comment! Actually, I have thought a lot about that. I may start doing that in a year or two. Right now, I have about 30 songs to finish. It takes a ton of time writing, recording, mixing, mastering, making a video, and creating products to use with the video. Not to mention teaching 82 gifted K-8 graders! Once I get all these songs finished this summer, I'll start writing new ones. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on topics for the little guys and gals! I'm not sure why that is happening. There have been multiple downloads/purchases of this video without issues. It could be because it's a large file and it didn't have time to download all the way. You can find it at the link below. I always have my students highlight and take notes on the lyrics page before playing the song. It's great for an anticipatory set.

As of right now, the book has only the worksheet packets. Yes, the songs will have to be purchased separately. That is because due to the file size of songs, they can't be bundled together.
The entire book, which has been completely redone, is much better. However, I won't be able to post it until this weekend. If you can wait, I highly recommend doing so. Not only is it much more professional, but it adds two new lessons for two new songs. I am extremely proud of it, and I know it will be great in the classroom! Again, it won't be posted until this weekend.
The worksheet packets and quizzes have not been redone yet. That will happen this summer (when I have time to breathe).

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 7 years. Six of those were in 4th grade, and I currently teach gifted students in K-8. Aside from teaching, I was in the U.S. Army for six years.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
The Grammarheads was born out of my first observation by the school principal. Being a long-term substitute and desperately wanting my first job as a 4th grade teacher, I wrote a lesson plan to teach adverbs. Of course, we all know that the good ol' English textbook just isn't going to cut it. Using it will surely put the observing principal to sleep, as well as the students. So, I wrote a punk-rock song and played the guitar. After 30 minutes, the kids had their hands in the air and singing, "Adverbs, adverbs, when, where, how!" Oh, and so was the principal. She hired me full time, and I'm still teaching and writing songs eight years later! I'm also a husband and a father with five amazing children. I have been very blessed!
