I was looking for something appropriate for kindergarten and got that plus much more. It made the purchase more expensive and I got more than I needed. I would liked to have seen maybe two different offerings - one for younger children and another for older children.

Very nice pictures. I used these in pre-k as a matching game while we were on the animals unit. The children loved it, especially the wide variety of unfamilar wild animals. The only problem we ran into was the front. As they are starting letter recognition, the font threw them off a bit.

Yes, the first chapter is free and then I started working on ideas for the rest of the book. The package has ideas for the next few chapters. I hope to find the energy to do the entire book next year when we do Charlotte's Web again. It is such a lovely book to read with kids.

I have no idea how to edit the rating. Maybe there is a "delete" option. Otherwise maybe you just need to rate it again to balance it out.

I love the animal matching cards. My question is do you have pictures of the ones that are missing either the adult or the baby. I counted 6 that either has the adult and not the baby or they have the baby and not the adult. Please let me know. Thank You Phyllis McCausley

I'm not sure what you mean.
I just downloaded myself and checked. It works for me. There should be 11 pages with four cards on each. They are not "matched" on the pages because I did them in the order in which the photos appeared in my list, but each animal should have a partner.

I am an experienced primary school teacher with over ten years experience in a variety of classroom settings from Year 1 to Year 7. My variety of experiences including share teaching, multiage and specialist teaching has taught be to be flexible and to continue my own lifelong learning journey.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I love to teach using creative and hands-on strategies. I think learning should be fun and messy and that making mistakes is part of the journey. I am always searching for ways to make things easier and more engaging for my students. I also try to model being environmentally responsible and like to reduce, reuse and recycle where I can.
