Hi! This would be a good review to maintain the standards taught in first grade over the summer. I suppose some kindergarteners could use it if the subject matter was specifically taught. This packet is not intended to prep for 2nd Grade, but simply offer a review of standards learned. I hope that helps explain things a bit better:) I listed all of the items in the packet to make sure that there were no confusion :)

First, I just want to say how much I love your products! I have purchased many and know that there will be more in my future too. I was just wondering if it was possible to change the soft /g/ (gingerbread) to a different picture, like goat or girl? I do teach the soft sound but my students often overuse it in their writing and I thought it would be better to have a picture with the hard sound. Thanks either way!

Love Love Love your stuff! Thank you so much. My 3 year old just finished your beginning Sounds ( Color, Cut, and Paste) set. What would you recommend for her next? She knows all her letters and sounds, but being only 3 her fine motor skills are poor. I like this type of activity because she can do it while I am teaching her older sister. Any suggestions would be welcomed! :)

The Build-a-Books is also a good set that helps with upper and lowercase ABC's, numbers, shapes and colors (also good for extra practice with fine motor skills). I purchased the Sight Word Graphing Pre-primer a little while back. I have not been able to use it. When I print a page, it prints all of the sight words for that page and all rpior pages. I really want to use this kit. Can you help? I thought it was my printer. But I have used every printer at school. LOL!

No, I haven't really made an assessment tool although it is a great idea. Level 1 works with all the pre-primer sight words and simple CVC word families. Level 2 works with more complex word families and all the sight words from the Dolch primer list. Level 3 will meet Common Core Standards for 1st Grade. I hope that helps a little :)

I bought Ready2Read Level 2 Unit 4 and am unable to print it. I have uploaded the new version of Adobe Reader but it still will not print. I have purchased several of these and have not had a problem printing them. I had some difficulty with some of the pages in Unit 3 also but printed it in batches and it worked.

Mirrah Smith (TpT Seller) re: Ready2Read Level 3 Unit 4
I ordered Ready2Read Level 3 unit 4 (it says it on the description) but it is really unit 1, so I have two of unit 1 and no unit 4. Is there a way that I can get unit 4? I'm really sad that I don't have all of the units.

I am sorry you are having trouble printing. It is actually a pretty easy fix. You simply need to download the most current Adobe Reader and open the file using that. Here is a link if you need it:
