I recommend having both. Center 5 is vocab matching and a vocabulary 4 square for one word. The vocab posters/ quizzes have half sheet posters for displaying vocabulary and then a matching quiz for each set of posters. Thanks for your question!

Hi Shanna. Fold the long rectangular piece along each of the lines. It will make a triangular shape that will stand up. Glue the small square area where it overlaps. I had the kiddos use their scrap paper to make shapes to glue to the front of it depending on the theme of their games. I hope this helps.

Hello! I am a huge fan of your products. I just purchased the iLearn and the Ultimate Interactive Notebook. I am just getting ready to do some summer work, and would like to start "notebooking" in my 4th and 5th grade science classes next year. How often to you have the students start a new journal? How much do you have prepared for them ahead of time? Do you have them glue as you go along? I did read your post on journaling, and appreciated the links. I would really like your thoughts.

Hi! Thanks so much for your purchases! When I taught 5th, we journaled a lot and we used 2 notebooks in a schoolyear. We glue after we finish a foldable. Ahead of time, I try to have pages ready (if needed) or ideas about what they should write about. We also record put Weekly Fives in there and all lab activities.

Hi! I just purchased your Math Test Prep Station Activities for 5th grade. I love it! I'm a high school math teacher (Algebra 1 & Geometry) but I'm teaching 5th and 8th grade STAAR students during summer school. I love how you structured your classes. I have planned a 20-30 minute review warm-up, then a some type of review followed by your activities. Do you have any suggestions for "traditional review" for 5th graders? My students and I have enjoyed all of your products...I especially found the "Weekly 5" and "Task Cards" beneficial for our review prior to state testing. I'm already looking at planning things for next year, and will be purchasing your "ILearn" product. Two questions...
1) I have already purchased the "Introduction to Science Stations"...will the rest of the "ILearn" be available at a reduced price? (Mainly so I don't have two of the same products...if not, no biggie!)

Thanks for these stations. I liked using them this week before the STAAR test. They were definitely more engaged then they would have been doing worksheets. I do want to mention that 3 of the answers were incorrect on your key for the Rounding station (third grade). #4 35 rounds to 40 not 30. And on numbers 7 and 8, your answers are right if you add then round the answer, but we've always taught the kids to round to make the numbers easier to work with and then add or subtract in which case you get 40 as the answer to both #7 and #8. Just thought I would pass that along. Thanks again!
