I can't for sure answer how many of these tests I still have in the second book, But I would venture to say I have close to 2/3rds. So you would have all the tests but maybe 4-5 in the entire series. Currently I don't have the option to buy them all, but I will be doing this sometime in March. Please let me know if this time frame works.

I would say they more align themselves with the FCAT Stems: main idea, cause and effect, sequencing, compare and contrast, etc. If that matches with the core's content, it may be loosely aligned. I am unfamiliar with core since I am out of state now and working at a private school where we don't put too much effort into core.

No. The stories do not come but they are readily found in Harcourt Trophies (FL edition) and you can easily find them at your local library as they are very common. I cannot offer the stories or passages as they are copyright material. I do know the book is also found at libraries.
