Fourth Grade Lemonade (TpT Seller)
I used this as a center for my fourth graders. I teach in a heavily-ELL populated school. It is so important for them to be able to break down the steps of word problems. A couple kiddos knew the answers but couldn't describe what the steps were. This center really promoted the metacongitive process. Awesome.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for eight years. Those eight years have been spent at seven different schools in two different states, so I have experienced a lot of different teaching curriculums and school philosophies.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I strive to have a student-centered, hands-on, cooperative classroom. I am currently teaching at a public Montessori elementary school that supports my teaching philosophy and style. If you come in my classroom, you will see students engaged in small group and partner activities and will rarely see them complete a "worksheet." Instead, I use task cards and hand-on activities with recording sheets.
