On the first page where they receive their twizzlers (six) they are told to measure each one and find the average. Am I supposed to cut them into different lengths first? The first three twizzlers I pulled out of the package were all the exact same length, so I'm thinking I was supposed to cut them in different lengths and just missed it somewhere. I'm planning to do this with my class this Friday, so if there's any way you could answer within the next day, it would be so appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! When I originally made this activity, I pulled out bunches of them and they were not all the same length. They were close, but not exact. Maybe it was the bag I got? I was measuring using centimeters as well.

What probably is happening is the files sometimes go right into a download file without you seeing it. Do a search on your computer for the files and they will pop up. Also, they are zipped files. On a PC, you select the files, then go to FILE and select Extract. Then a pop up window will open and you can get to your files. You'll have to do it for each one. Email me at thetutorhouse@hotmail.com if it still isn't working.

I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I have a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Also, be careful of the kind of fonts you use. Most buyers, especially primary teachers, want common fonts, not unusual ones. Sometimes the odd fonts don't download well.

Thank you for your input. I will try to do my best with fonts. For older grades, I've heard some teachers are disappointed when the fonts are standard. I think I will try my best to strike a balance between the two. Maybe I will make some of my games twice with appropriate font for younger grades and different font for older. Thanks again!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been tutoring for the past 7 years in my home. Most of my students are middle schoolers and I usually tutor math! I've learned that I have to keep it interesting and relevant to their lives. My products are those things as well.
