Scipi (TpT Seller) re: Glossary for Science Notebook
I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Since you are new at this, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.
Add some clipart to add color or just color something. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do you use this? Is it an individual or group assignment? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching science in a large urban setting for 5 years. I have taught high school chemistry and middle school general science. Currently, I specialize in elementary science teaching.
MY TEACHING STYLE
As a science educator my goal is to create an environment for students to experiment, think critically and wonder about the natural world. My lessons are developed so students can incorporate prior knowledge and learn the skills of a real life scientist. I provide students with space to wonder about how things work from the water cycle to simple machines. It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. -- Albert Einstein

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I grew up in Florida volunteering in my mother's flower shop. She named me after a plant "Holly" and sent me to a science focused school in my early elementary years. I guess you could say I was destined for science teaching. I graduated from Emmanuel college with a B.S. in Biology and from UMass Boston with a M.Ed.

I also facilitate professional development for elementary teachers on the topics of outdoor learning and kindergarten Science.
