TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I received my Bachelor's from the University of Houston-Clearlake in 1994 but chose not to teach due to raising family. I began teaching in 1999. I am currently teaching Pre-Kindergarten students. I spent 6 years teaching 1st/2nd grade split in a Montessori Public School, 2 years in 2nd grade, 3 years in 5th Grade, and 1 year as an ESL specialist. I am certified in Texas to teach Early Childhood to 6th Grade, and ESL. I have a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria. (The goal is to be a certified administrator by April 2012.) I am trained to service Gifted and Talented students and take continuing education hours regularly in this area. I was also certified in 2007 by the American Montessori Society for Elementary I.
