I used these problems with my students as a pre-assessment gallery walk. I printed the problems and posted them around the room. Students then walked around the room and attempted to answer three problems. I could quickly see they did not know when to use lcm and gcf to assess a problem. I then used another powerpoint to discuss when to use each skill in word problems. Then, I allowed students to complete their gallery walk and use this attempt as a formative assessment. Questions require critical thinking.

All players work on meeting the condition of Hole 1 by rolling dice in alternating turns. As soon as a player meets the condition of Hole 1, they can move onto the next...and the next...and the next. They cannot advance to the next hole until the condition has been met. The student to complete all 9 holes first wins.
