Kids absolutely love these controversial debates and it makes the amendments come to life in the classroom. I.E. Is drug testing high school athletes a violation of their 4th amendment? TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am in my 12th Year of teaching Social Studies. I teach at Perkins High School in Sandusky, Ohio. Perkins High School is an Apple 1 to 1 school and STEM school located in Northwest Ohio. I have taught three years of Dual Enrollment courses as a college adjunct professor for the University of Findlay. I also serve as the project manager for our freshmen team, which includes creating grade-level wide cross-curricular projects. I teach blended learning courses and am trained by Quality Matters to teach online.
