Hope you enjoy this book. It is one of our favorites. The lessons in this book may be used when studying about oviparous animals. I introduce this unit by reading Ruth Heller's Chickens Aren't The Only Ones. A poem about oviparous animals is the text for this book. This book has reproducible frames for a cover and seven pages.
There are instructions for seven easy cut and paste oviparous animals: a Hen, a Butterfly, a Spider, Fish, a Frog, an Alligator, and a Snail. There are facts about each oviparous animal in the book.

In 20 year of teaching, the tlc art lessons are by far my most treasured discovery. We have done the Thanksgiving book, and American symbols consistentlky to teach kindergarten social studies. It is a remarkabl;e creation in which each and every child meets success. I love the ability to download this book - no waiting time so we can get started right away. Great stuff!

Thank you for the kind words. Your comments remind me of the following story. Some years ago I was presenting a workshop in Torrance, CA when a teacher came up to me and told me she learned about TLC from her son's Kindergarten teacher. Her son was going to be in 4th grade. She said you know we can't save everything our child does in school so we cleaned out his "to save box." He would not part with one of his TLC Books. They were a true TREASURE to him.

I have the older edition of your Winter book, but I saw how cute the groundhog is on your sample page, and would love to do that lesson with my class. I purchased this book a couple of weeks ago and I love the activities.
After preparing the lesson pieces I put the activity on the py. board (like the smart board) and my class and I follow
along...looking at the finshed sample and directions. It has turned into a literacy activity too. I have some K children that are reading on low 1st and low 2nd grade levels. These children take turns reading directions (with some help) from the py. board and it has encouraged my other students to vol. to take a "try" at reading the next step too. Love it!
I am a longtime customer of yours. I have about 4 books I purchased 10 years ago.
They are on colored paper stock and not as easy for students to read on the py. board.
Additionally, the models are not in color and it is hard to scan a good clean copy because of the spine restrictions of the book, not to mention my fear of pages becoming unsecured.
I see that they are now available on digitial download. I am now teaching almost everything with py. board and I would like to know if you would be willing to give me the books in a digital format. I believe I may still have the handwritten priorty mail soft envelope you or you staff used to mail the books to me at my school.
So happy I found you again and now I have an additional reading activity with your digital lessons.

All of the NEW EDITIONS which can be digitally downloaded FROM TPT or purchased in HARDCOPY FORM on the website at tlclessons.com have the color Table of Contents and are on white paper.

No, the actual fairy tale stories are not included. The way I use the TLC Fairy Tale Book is by having the children make a picture that goes along with the particular Fairy Tale we are reading about. For example if we are reading "The Three Little Pigs" I read several different versions of "The Three Little Pigs and then we make the one page of the three little pigs from the TLC Fairy Tale Book.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan and taught for 37 years. Most of which was at the kindergarten level. I split my teaching years between the Rialto and Redlands Unified School Districts in California. When I began my teaching career in 1964 I had no idea the long lasting impact it would have on my life. I met my future husband at a teacher's party and decorated my children's nursery with TLC art from my classroom. I have presented workshops at education conferences all across the United States. Through the books I have been able to share ideas with teachers from New York to Hawaii, Canada to Mexico, and even internationally from Ireland to Japan, from United Arab Emirates to Africa and Australia.

Hands on learning focusing on integrating the curriculum.

In 1986 I received the Rialto Chamber of Commerce Service to Education Award. I was selected by my colleagues in Redlands to receive the Outstanding Teacher Award in 2002.
