TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 7 years. I have taught a special education class (behavior stream) for 3 years and am currently teaching the second grade.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe in creating student-centered activities that are engaging and that foster the students' abilities to connect to the lessons. I incorporate a variation of Daily 5 and Balance Literacy approaches and find that creativity is a key motivational factor in student's success. I also believe that students need to move! Thus, I like to implement a lot of centers in my classroom.

I studied at McGill University and have obtained a Bachelor Degree in the Kindergarten and Elementary program as well as a Masters Degree in Special Education in Inclusive Settings.
