Diana, I have added you to the middle school board. When I checked out your products, I had already thought the middle school board would also be a great place to pin your products. Happy pinning!

Wishing you the best.
Steve :)

Louisiana history teacher
Louisiana history teacher  (TpT Seller) re: Louisiana Cities by Population
Your “Louisiana population by county” does NOT exist. We have PARISHES in Louisiana.

Greg, thanks for spotting that goof in the product description page. It is corrected to parish. I got in too much of a hurry writing the description. This population product was created listing parishes in the full product, the preview, and the thumbnail #2. Again, thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully, you'll find some creative ways to use this product in your lessons.

Also, I have a Pinterest board called Teaching about Louisiana. I hope you'll consider joining this board as I build up Louisiana teaching resources. I've looked at your store, and you certainly have it loaded with great teaching resources for teaching about Louisiana. If interested, I'll need your Pinterest account name.

I like your products. Have you thought about putting them in a PDF format? It would be easier for the user/buyer.

Dave, I've certainly thought about converting these population resources to PDFs. I'm trying to figure out the logistics in doing this. I use an older version of MS Office, and I haven't been able to convert to PDF yet. When I do, I'll let you know and get you a complementary PDF copy. Again, thanks for your recent purchases.

Hi there. I really don't have a question--your store looks great! I just stopped by to tell you I really love what you wrote in answer to the forum question about unruly classrooms etc. Your logic is beautiful. Concur!

Thanks Lessia. My philosophy about teaching kids helped me throughout my teaching career. During my last five years of teaching, I taught in a middle school alternative school computer lab. I averaged only five "bad" days per year. There's a lot of teachers in regular classrooms that can't say that.

I see you're doing great things too with your music. Keep it up and have fun doing what you're doing. Steve :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Steve Glass, creator and owner of the TogetherWeTeach.com website is a retired educator of 35 years, mostly in Georgia. I have B.S., M.Ed., and Ed.S. degrees in education. Through the years, I have taught at the middle school level, high school level and elementary school level. I have served as a school technology coordinator for five years and was most recently, before retiring, computer lab instructor at the district's alternative middle school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands-on projects! Have students create projects where students can discover, develop, and then demonstrate their competency in subject matter. Guide them, but let them DO it. Then, they'll learn.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My greatest honor was in teaching and motivating young people for 35 years. I've been able to tell others, "I'm a teacher!"

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a B.S. in Education (from AUBURN University). My Master's degree is Middle Grades Education (from Fort Valley State University). I also completed my Education Specialist degree in Administration & Supervision (from University of Georgia).

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Steve self-published the original Together We Teach book of favorite sayings of America's teachers. Steve's wife Carolyn is a retired elementary school counselor. In 1997, Carolyn was named American School Counselor Association's "National Elementary Counselor of the Year". I am a proud father of three grown children and eight wonderful grandchildren.
