TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my 17th year teaching English in a public middle/high school. I have taught everything from English 7 to Mass Media to Video Production to Remedial English 12 to Journalism to English 11 Advanced Placement. However, the bulk of my experience is English 11 Advanced Placement and Journalism.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My classroom is a blend of traditional experiences and activities, technology-based learning, small group work, independent projects, and writing, writing, writing.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
Yes, I've earned professional recognition in both my district and regionally, and that's nice . . . but the best honors are the thank-you notes and emails from former students. That's validation.
