Hello,
I am wondering how many different per-written prompts does your journal provide?

There are 13 pre-written prompts and 3 opportunities for students to write about something they are thankful for that have no specific prompt. Prompts include being thankful for water, their favorite food, animals, people in their lives, something that might be taken for granted, and special friends. Each prompt has a spot for drawing a picture or adding adjectives to describe the prompt. Hope this helps you. Thank you so much for looking at my products. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day.

So sorry...don't know what happened! I had the heart hanging down because I liked the way it looked. I always have a "heavy heart" during this time of year and I used it this way to portray that. Would you like me to change it? Let me know at your convenience. Thanks so much for looking at my things. I appreciate it!

Is there a reason the heart is through the writing at the top of the letter?

I liked the way it looked when I used it with my own kiddos. I'm known for my heart hanging a bit heavy, my "heavy heart". Let me know if you would like me to move it up and I'll do it! Thanks for looking at my products!! I appreciate your time. Please feel free to email me back!

Buyer re: Teaching with Pumpkins!
Hi!! I was wondering if you had a website or information page you used to assist with the learning process. I do not know a whole lot about pumpkins, but wanted a little background information or website. I love this unit!! One of my parent volunteer's purchased a pumpkin for my entire class!!

Hi! I used the book Pumpkins by Gail Gibbons when I wrote this lesson. I read it to my class before we begin the whole unit. It's full of great facts about pumpkins, types of pumpkins and even the history of Halloween. I'm so happy that you like this unit. It's one of my favorites. What a great parent volunteer you've got for buying pumpkins for everyone! Please let me know if I can help you further. Thanks!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach third grade at a parochial school in Wisconsin. I am thoroughly enjoying the wonderful things that a small school brings. I have taught second and fourth grade and before teaching had a fabulous job in our local middle school. I love my middle school students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that learning should be fun. The best compliment that I have ever had came from a parent whose daughter was disappointed that it was Saturday because there was no school!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Rotary Teacher of the Month, December, 2007 Best Elementary Teacher, July, 2012 Kohl Teacher Fellowship Recipient, 2013

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have been teaching my entire life and have been in the classroom for 10 years. I was a little girl who didn't like school and didn't want to go. I always said that if I had my own classroom that it would be a safe, fun, bright room where above all else my students knew that I loved them and that they could learn. I believe I have such a room.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am the mother of three adult children, one with special needs, and the proud grandma of one precious little granddaughter. I enjoy reading, writing, and above all creating. "Through God all things are possible."
