I have taught early childhood special education for 4 years. Three of those years I taught an inclusive classroom, and this year I teach a special purpose classroom. I have experience with diverse classrooms and severe behavioral challenges. I pride myself in my ability to teach a classroom of children with a wide range of strengths and needs.

I have a hands on approach, a necessity in the preschool years! I meet the children where they are and provide challenges to extend their learning. My teaching is always developmentally appropriate based on the children in my classroom. I tend to write my own curriculum based on IEP goals and objectives of the children in my classroom and infused with bits and pieces of other well-known curricula.
