Scipi  (TpT Seller) re: The Writing Process Rubric
I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Since you are just starting out, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.

First, make a cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers even if it is only one page. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Here is how you do it. Use the insert and go to the right. You should see symbols there. Insert the copyright symbol, your name and date. It should look something like this: © V. Rauch (Scipi), 2011 Also, number your pages.

It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 2nd Year teaching in my own classroom, however, I've been working in childcare since 2006! I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I've worked with ages 18months-8th grade. I student taught in Kindergarten and 7th/8th grade. Most of my experience is working with Kindergarteners. I absolutely love them! My first teaching job was in 5th grade-- and I will be starting this year in Pre-K!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a very excited teacher. I am hands-on and love to have fun.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from high school in 2003. I went to college right away and couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. My mother said I'd be a teacher..so I opted for every other major! I ended up taking some time off, getting my nail technician license and working in a salon for a bit. After a few months of working I decided I was ready to go back to school. I went and when my new salon job wasn't working out with the hours I needed-- I went to the YMCA to work in child care. I absolutely fell in love...switched my major AGAIN & graduated in 2010! I ended up exactly where my mother said I would and I couldn't be happier about it. I have great memories from Elementary School and High School. Middle School was...okay. :) I hope to give my students memories that will last a lifetime and be as influential as some of my amazing teachers were.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love teaching, kids, arts & crafts, CAMP, music, theatre, reading, being silly, watching movies, singing, my family & friends, my fantastic boyfriend, animals (especially my dogs), and pinning things on Pinterest!
