Hi, this is such an EXCELLENT & THOROUGH resource! I am going to use it for my first attempt at Lit. Circles. I did experience the issue similar to the previous person who posted here. It seems that the title or top line or two of each page appears at the bottom of the previous page. I seem to have corrected it by entering page breaks on the first several pages because that bumped the rest of them down to the right spot. I don't need a new copy, but I thought I'd let you know since others might not see the quick fix. Thanks for the great product at such a reasonable price!

I don't know if anyone else has had trouble, but the formatting on some of the pages has been changed. Some of the pages are cut off (there is only part of a bookmark). I can drag the text boxes up and capture the whole page, but it is a painstaking process. Can you send me a file that has not been corrupted? Thank you. It looks great!

Hi Evelyn, It won't allow you to order the complete book because I haven't posted it yet. I'm revising the final copy now, which is the good news! I've added quite a few new organizers, made the pages more "user friendly" in some cases, and have completed the remaining chapters for the rest of the reading strategies. I hope to have the completed book posted by the end of the summer-just in time for the new school year!

Hi,
I have not yet completed the book. I did copy any of the organizers from Holt, but did get ideas from many gathered/collected g.o. over the years. That's why this book is incomplete and is currently offered as a preview for free. Once it's finished, sources for well-known organizers (e.g. The KWL chart) and any others that came from a known sources will be referenced.

From K-5 in our school, the Ministry of ontario has demanded that the kids should learn the skill, along with some other types of graphs. The Venn diagram is ver popular and well used in grade 1 and others as well. It is working very well.

The book is in a revision stage right now, but the Table of Contents will be organized around "The Eight Great" Reading Strategies: Activating Schema & Setting Purpose, Questioning, Creating Sensory Images, Predicting & Inferring, Determining Importance, Summarizing & Synthesizing, Self-Monitoring and Analyzing & Evaluating.

There are a total of eight chapters, each focused on one of the "Eight Great" reading strategies: The remaining five chapters include: Predicting & Inferring, Determining Importance, Summarizing & Synthesizing, Self-Monitoring and Analyzing & Evaluating.
