Buyer re: Morning Wake Up 1st Grade Common Core ELA and Math
Which common core standards are reviewed? All ELA and Math?

As much as I could possibly squeeze in for both ELA & Math in a paper and pencil type of format. The standards are written on each question. Math covers all of the key standards for 1st grade. ELA covers reading comprehension standards, vocab, high frequency, writing (language), and phonics (reading fundamentals).

I am from Texas and we do not use the common core, is there a way I could add the Texas TEKs?

You could add anything you wish. However, you would have to type them (or copy and paste them) yourself. There isn't a way to just MERGE them into the file.

In the Ultimate Weekly Planner, it looks like there are lines to write on in the boxes. Do the lines print out?
Thanks!

Jeanine, Yes the lines print out. BUT if you would rather just have ONE large "box" without lines, you can merge those individual cells into one - or whatever suits your needs.

I really love your product? How do your "below level" readers do with reading the text based evidence passages?

Hi Christina. They do really well. The passages start off very easy and grow in difficulty at the same rate as our phonic and sight word instruction and review - so they are able to keep up. I honestly believe that this daily review and practice helps increase their reading ability tremendously.

yodacrisscross  (TpT Seller) re: Customize My Planner
Hello,
I had some questions I hope you don't mind. I have used Excell very little, but am in great need of some type of daily planner. I have tried all planners from lakeshore but end up using htem for about a month and then get tired of writing in the same thing each week. I have tried creating my own schedule in word format. I print a new one but if there is a schedule change it throws me off. I teach spec ed and have numerous pull outs and meetings, etc. I would love to be able to access on my nexus tablet or chrome book the changes and have a week at a glance printed out. Possible? It is late in the year to be making a new planner ( 2 months left) but if I get a start now, the beginning of next year will be easier. Do you suggest I purchase the Weekly planner and the customize planner. Does this mean you will in put my schedule in the Excell? Thanks for the reply!

Hi!
The planner is easily changed as you need to. Since it is digital each week - you can type in anything that is different from the norm. I print my week plans on one sheet every week so that I can have quick and easy access to them with my daily work. (These are posted on my blog each week - search weekly planner on dragonfliesinfirst.com) You don't have to print them, or you could even print them to 2 pages if you prefer. If you put your planner in a cloud storage file (like SkyDrive or iCloud) you will have access to it from your tablet and computer. It is never too late to start with a new planner. If you get the customization now, we will set up your planner for this year with information you provide me regarding your schedule and a few other tidbits. If you find that you need a different customization for next school year, you would have to purchase another customization add on, but the planner itself is yours forever and you don't have to re-purchase that. I hope this helps. Feel free to email me at dragonfliesinfirst at gmail dot com if you have any other questions! I'm happy to help. :)

Hello Traci,
I want to start off and say I love all of your items on TPT and your website is so helpful!! I was wondering if you had a habitat that was just on the Arctic/Tundra? I purchased Happening Habitats and love it! I was hoping that you had a cold climate as well. Thanks for everything that you do!
